Seann Walsh has reportedly called Strictly Come Dancing’s Neil Jones “gay” just weeks after kissing the professional dancer’s wife Katya.
Comedian Walsh, who was partnered with Katya Jones on the BBC dance competition this year, was voted off the show less than two weeks after the pair were pictured kissing outside a pub in London.
The Daily Mail reports that during a recent stand-up show, Walsh branded Katya’s husband of five years Neil, “gay”, before attempting to back-track by saying he was “only joking”.
The disgraced comic is said to have told the audience at The Tommyfield in Kennington: “Before the show, the newspapers were complaining they didn’t know who I was, you know who I am now, motherf**ker.
“I’m the guy who kissed a gay man’s wife – please don’t report that, I’m only joking, I’m just here trying to make you laugh.”
Neil is reportedly hoping to confront Walsh over the remark when the pair are reunited on Wednesday (12 December) ahead of the Strictly grand finale this weekend.
A ‘source’ told The Sun: “Neil has been telling pals backstage he will confront him and ask him to explain himself.
“He thought the comments were unnecessary so wants to hear what Seann has to say for himself.”
The now-infamous kiss between Seann and Katya took place on the same night that Walsh’s girlfriend, the actress Rebecca Humphries, celebrated her birthday at home alone.
The Big Bad World star promptly dumped Walsh in the wake of the scandal, publicly insisting she was “no victim” as she revealed that Walsh had failed to apologise to her for his actions.
Rebecca, we think it’s fair to say you’re much better off…
