See Lisa Kudrow as Valerie Cherish in ‘The Comeback’ teaser

Lisa Kudrow has filmed a teaser for the new series of her cult HBO comedy The Comeback.
Kudrow appears in character as Valerie Cherish in the clip, promoting the show’s new Twitter account – marking her first time back in the role since the show was cancelled in 2005.
The one and only previous series of The Comeback followed Cherish, a faded actress, as she stars in an ill-advised reality show in a bid to revive her flagging career.
Earlier this month (May), HBO commissioned a new six-episode series of the comedy, which originally ran for just 13 episodes back in 2005.
Sex and the City’s Michael Patrick King, Kudrow and her longtime producing partner Dan Bucatinsky will serve as executive producers on the new series.
Kudrow began shooting the new episodes earlier this month (May) in Los Angeles, and The Comeback will return to HBO in the autumn. Details of a UK airing have yet to be announced.
