Shayne Ward unveils ‘The Way That You Were’ music video
By Will Stroude
Shayne Ward has unveiled the video for his latest single The Way You Were.
The clip sees the former X Factor winner smoulder as he fights against the trappings of fame while trying to find love.
The mid-tempo, Mike Stock (of Stock/Aitken/Waterman fame)-produced track is the second single to be released from Ward’s fourth album Closer, which debuted at number 17 in the UK Top 40 albums chart in back April.
The No Promises singer – who admitted to Attitude earlier this year that after all these years he still gets called gay “all the time” – was recently announced as Coronation Street’s latest big name casting. He’ll be joining the flagship ITV soap as Aiden Connor, a distant cousin of Michelle, later this summer.
