"Aren't you scared you'll lose?" "No."

Silky Nutmeg Ganache became the first contestant in All Stars herstory to lip-sync against herself on last night’s episode of All Stars 6.

The queen performed in half-male, half-female drag for an energetic rendition of Aqua’s ‘Barbie Girl’, after A’Keria C. Davenport bowed out of the ‘game-within-a-game‘ twist.

The star of course progressed almost to the finish line in the so-called “redemption smackdown for the crown” – although we’ll have to wait until next week to find out if it’s she or Eureka rejoining the main competition.

“You want to lip-sync for your legacy all by yourself”

“I hope I still get the chance to lip-sync for your tonight,” said Silky when RuPaul delivered the news of A’Keria’s departure.

“So you want to lip-sync for your legacy all by yourself?” asked Ru. “Aren’t you scared you’ll lose?”

“No,” replied Silky, clearly feeling pretty confident about the look she had hidden underneath her billowing green dress.

Silky’s performance on last night’s ep has clearly gone down well with fans, with the star revealing on Twitter that she’s been inundated with cash tips from viewers.

“Omg. I can’t sleep because my @CashApp and @Venmo been ringing all night,” she said. “Thank you for the tips. Y’all know I’m trying to buy a house so they are greatly appreciated. Y’all gone get me to the $70K I [need]!”

Good for you, Silky!

While a historic moment for Silky and All Stars, this is not the first time in the wider Drag Race franchise history that a queen has competed in a solo lip-sync for your life.

That accolade goes to Drag Race UK season two’s Sister Sister, who performed alone after Ginny Lemon walked off the show earlier this year.
