Sneak preview: ‘EastEnders’ Johnny enjoys gay kiss

‘ Johnny Carter enjoys a passionate gay kiss in an upcoming episode of the BBC One soap airing next month.
Last December, the BBC received two complaints from viewers following a previous on-screen gay kiss featuring Johnny Carter, played by Sam Strike, and Gary Lucy’s character Danny Pennant.
In the upcoming episode, Johnny meets a handsome Italian boy called Gianluca at a Pride event and takes him back to Albert Square, where Johnny introduces Gianluca, played by Gabriele Lombardo, to his family.
However, Gianluca soon has to head back to Italy, and the pair say farewell with a kiss at the train station – but not before Gianluca asks Johnny to join him on the journey home to Italy.
The episode will air on BBC One next month (July).
