‘So uplifting and emotional and celebratory’ – Channel 4’s new show ‘Drag SOS’ is a hit

Fans were left blubbering and teary eyed after the first episode of Channel 4’s hit new show Drag SOS.
Known as the Family Gorgeous, including Liquorice Black, Lill, Asttina Mandella, Cheddar Gorgeous, Anna Phylactic, TeTe Bang, Donna Trump, the group of Manchester’s finest drag queens travel up and down the country to meet people and help them discover their drag personas – sort of Queer Eye in drag.
While covering one of Attitude’s Summer Pride issues – available to buy and download to any device now – the group of queens tell us about the show and how the British public respond to drag.
And after the first episode, people are calling the series the ‘best thing on TV’ and we couldn’t agree more. Here are just some of the reactions:
