Solardo and Comanavago’s ‘You Make Me Feel’ is a club-ready reworking of Sylvester’s queer disco classic
The two dance duos have teamed up to breathe new life into Sylvester's 1978 anthem.

Sylvester’s 1978 hit ‘You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)’ has been revamped for 2022 courtesy of Solardo and Comanavago – and your queer summer festival anthem is officially here.
‘You Make Me Feel’ sees Manchester dance duo Solardo team up with LGBTQ electro-pop outfit Comanavago for a thumping reswizzle of Sylvester’s signature hit , which originally peaked at Number 8 on the Official UK Singles Chart.
With resung vocals and an infectious house twist, ‘You Make Me Feel’ proves the staying power of Sylvester’s music almost 35 years after the legendary gay singer’s death from AIDS-related complications in 1988.
The track’s euphoric new music video pays homage to the ’70s disco and sees Comanavago’s Ben Dunkerley (they/them) and Gabriel Swarbrick (he/him) party alongside an array of queer and drag performers.
Dunkerley and Swabrick formed Comanavago after meeting in university halls and released theur debut EP If You Think You’re Hard Enough in January 2019, six months before graduating.
Solardo meanwhile have made waves on the dance scene over the last few years and have collaborated collaborated with some of music’s biggest names, including David Guetta and Tiësto.
