All five Spice Girls are set to reunite for a animated Spice World sequel.
Currently, the iconic girl group are about to wrap their 13-date ‘Spice World – 2019 Tour’ but Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice pulled out of the tour to focus on her fashion label.
But now, the Hollywood Reporter has revealed that all five girls – Posh, Scary (Mel B), Sporty (Mel C), Ginger (Gerri Horner) and Baby (Emma Bunton) – will be reuniting for a sequel to their 1997 cult classic film Spice World.
The film marks the first time since 1997 that the girls have featured as the leads in a new movie and Simon Fuller – who managed the girl group at their peak – is reportedly on board to produce.
Paramount Animation president Mireille Soria confirmed that all five of the girls will be back and the film – which is still in early development – is set to be released next year.
Not much else is known about the upcoming film but if Ginger kisses another alien we will be fine!
