Steps rescheduling final tour dates following Covid-19 cases: ‘we are so disappointed’
The band says the final tour dates in Cardiff and Bournemouth are being rescheduled for 2022.

Steps have announced that the rest of their tour will be rescheduled following a number of positive Covid-19 cases in the tour party.
The announcement on Monday (29 November) follows the group’s members Faye Tozer and Lee Latchford-Evans testing positive and missing shows.
The remaining tour dates in Cardiff and Bournemouth are being rescheduled for some time in 2022.
“We are so disappointed”
A statement posted on the band’s Instagram account reads: “Hi everyone, unfortunately, we now have further positive Covid-19 cases in our touring party which have made continuing with the What the Future Holds tour impossible.
“For the safety of everyone involved in the show, we have decided to reschedule tonight’s (Monday 29 November) Cardiff show and Wednesday’s (1 December) Bournemouth show to Summer 2022 (Dates to be announced soon)”

It continues: “We have tried every way possible to continue with our final shows, however, we have to put everyone’s health and safety as our top priority. We are so disappointed to postpone these shows as we were really looking forward to performing for you all.
“We appreciate your continued support and hope you will join us in wishing those affected a speedy recovery – Claire, Faye, H, Lisa, and Lee. X”
Tozer tested positive on 19 November missing several shows but was able to re-join the tour in London just as Latchford-Evans tested positive on Saturday (27 November) meaning he would have missed the rest of the tour.
Adding to the band’s message, Ian ‘H’ Watkins, who was looking forward to performing on home turf in Wales, says he’s “gutted”.
