Stereo Kicks member James Graham has revealed that he ended up in hospital after his ex-girlfriend assaulted him during their break-up.

Speaking to Attitude’s special edition teen magazine aTEEN, the 18-year-old X Factor contestant said he had to take himself to A&E after his ex-girlfriend punched him in the face and broke his nose.

“I was 15 and I’d been going out with her for about a year,” James says. “As I told her I used all the clichés, ‘It’s not you, it’s me,’… and I thought she was crying so I leaned in to hug her, and as I leaned in she punched me in the face.

“I went straight down, my nose was broken and bleeding. I though ‘fair enough, she’s got it out of her system’, but then she kicked me in the crotch,” he continues.

“I was laid on the ground of the park for about half and hour and then I went straight to A&E to get my nose popped back in.”
