Streisand announces full list of duet partners on new album

Barbra Streisand has confirmed the release of her new duets album.

The legendary singer and actress will return on September 16 with new album Partners, her first in three years, which will feature duets with the likes of Michael Bublé, Lionel Richie, John Legend and her son Jason Gould.

Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, Billy Joel and Josh Groban will also appear on the album – in addition to a collaboration with the late Elvis Presley.

The tracklisting mixes covers of classic songs with new versions of Streisand favourites including Evergreen and The Way We Were.

The Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT) winner is the one of the best-selling female recording artists of all time, with over 145 million album sales to her name.

Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds, who co-produced her duets album, said in a statement: “It’s a beautiful, beautiful record. She’s singing amazingly well, and it’s been a fun project to do.”
