Robin Windsor has announced he is retiring from professional dancing.
The former Strictly Come Dancing professional told Zoe Ball during the BBC spin-off show It Takes Two on Tuesday (November 20) that he is set to hang up his dancing shoes after his farewell tour this Sunday.
When asked why he has been away for so long, the openly gay dancer replied: “I’ve been on tour and I’m about to finish my farewell tour.”
To which Ball quizzed: “Your farewell tour?” and the dancer confirmed: “Yes and retire.”
Robin was previously partnered on the BBC One ballroom and latin dance competition with the likes of Patsy Kensit, Lisa Riley and Deborah Meaden as well as Alison Hammond and Sara Cox on the Strictly Christmas specials.
However, he was forced to leave the dance competition back in 2014 due to a “pre-existing back injury” and we can all agree, he is missed!
