Strictly’s Gleb Savchenko rips shirt open, steals the show

Last week it was Jay McGuinness’s Jive that won the night on Strictly Come Dancing, this week it was pro dancer Gleb Savchenko completely removing his shirt.

The star’s looks have long been a talking point of the BBC competition, and he’s arguably had more attention than his actual celebrity partner Anita Rani, whose samba scored them 27 points and plonked them mid-table on the leaderboard.

When the couple joined co-host Claudia Winkleman to collect their scores, she was jokily wearing a shirt similar to Gleb’s, which she then removed – as did he.

As the surrounding celebs and dancers lost their cool, Claudia joked: “Don’t touch me, that’s disgusting”, and various others tried to cover Gleb up while she rattled through the voting details.

If Anita’s dancing won’t score her enough votes to stay put for a while, that certainly will…
