Taylor Swift credits Lady Gaga for romance with Calvin Harris

Over the weekend Taylor Swift took to Twitter to offer some advice to a fan down on his luck in love. The 25-year-old popstar, who is currently in a relationship with Calvin Harris, reached out to Alex Goldschmidt on Saturday and cited a previous tweet from Lady Gaga as a ‘magical spell’ that brought her and the Scottish DJ together.

Back in early March, Gaga replied to a tweet in which Taylor referred to the Bad Romance singer’s life as ‘goals’, promising Swifty that her prince charming would come along. Lo and behold, Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris became an item soon after.
Never one to be left out, Gaga replied to Taylor again after this recent exchange with a fan to express her happiness at Taylor’s new-found love.
Fans soon took to Tumblr – a favourite haunt of Taylor’s for fan engagement – to gush over the friendship between the two popstars. One such fan brilliantly recast Cinderella with Taylor, Calvin and Gaga.
As exciting as a Cinderella adaptation with these three would be, we’re just hoping for a collaboration between Taylor and Gaga to be honest. Perhaps she may join the myriad of guests currently appearing on Taylor’s 1989 World Tour.
In an interview with Kiss FM UK last Friday, Calvin gushed over his romance with the singer saying he’s “insanely happy” with their relationship. It appears Lady Gaga really is a fairy godmother after all.
