Taylor Swift and Pharrell Williams have been confirmed for the first X Factor results show this Sunday (October 12).
The first live results show of the series will see Swift perform Shake It Off – which currently sits at number three in the Official UK Singles Chart – while Williams will perform new single Gust of Wind, the latest cut to be lifted from his chart-topping album G I R L.
Williams has released the video for Gust of Wind – which sees him team up with his former Get Lucky collaborators Daft Punk – ahead of the performance. Directed by Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright, features Daft Punk’s infamous helmets depicted as ancient stone statues.
Williams, whose world tour arrives at London’s O2 Arena for two nights later this week, said: “The people of the UK have been so supportive of me over the years, allowing me to be an artist and allowing me to work with other people and supporting what it is that I do.”
Last month, it was revealed that the 41-year-old’s single Happy has become the UK’s most downloaded song of all time.
The X Factor continues on Saturday October 11 on ITV at 7.30pm.
