Taylor Swift has teamed up with Panic! at the Disco frontman Brendon Urie for her new single ‘ME!’
For the past few weeks, the ’22’ singer has been teasing new music will be released after posting a ticking clock with the date April 26 on social media.
And now, the new collaboration between Swift and Urie has been released alongside a brand-new video.
In the video we see a snake slithering by – a direct homage to Swift’s previous ‘Blank Space’ era – before it erupts into butterflies and we see the two singers arguing in French.
After Swift storms out, the catchy lyrics burst out and it is definitely a summer banger. Urie then flies down on an umbrella and hands his beau a kitten.
With lyrics like: “You’re the only one of you, baby that’s the fun of you” and “nobody gonna love you like me”, the song is sure to be a summer hit.
The new single is set to feature on Swift’s upcoming seventh album and is her first release under the Republic Records label after spending twelve years with Big Machine Records.
