A teaser for the upcoming adaptation of Jenny Han’s best-selling novel, The Summer I Turned Pretty has just dropped and includes an exclusive first listen of Taylor Swift’s ‘This Love (Taylor’s Version)’
Even better, the full track will be available at midnight!
‘This Love’ originally featured on Taylor Swift’s fifth album, 1989. The artist has long hinted at 1989 being next in the re-release schedule of her work. However, stay Tay has also been dropping hints that Speak Now could be out next…
Perhaps ‘This Love’ featuring in the trailer is a sign of which direction Swift is heading!
She has already re-released ‘Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version)’ from the 1989 album back in September
The Summer I Turned Pretty sees Lola Tung star as Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin, a high schooler who gets caught between two brothers she’s spent every summer with – Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad (Chris Briney)
The coming-of-age age drama tackles first loves and heartbreaks, which seems like a perfect fit for Tay Tay.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in March, Hans, who also acts as showrunner and executive producer, said: “I just really want them [her readers] to feel satisfied by the long wait and feel like the story has come to life in the way that they were hoping for. I hope fans swoon a lot. The first time I walked on set, I cried.”
She also teased that there would be new characters explaining they help expand the world she created, which she could only do in a series.
EW reports the first season of TSITP will cover the first book in the trilogy and will be made up of seven episodes. Hans is also hoping the remainder of the trilogy – It’s Not Summer Without You and We’ll Always Have Summer – also makes its way to the screen.
The Summer I Turned Pretty will debut on Amazon Prime Video on 17 June.
The Attitude May/June issue is out now.
