10 years after The L Word departed screens, the ladies of West Hollywood are BACK for a brand new sequel series.
The L Word: Generation Q sees characters old and new come together for a new eight-part series exploring the lives of a group of lesbian and bisexual women living in LA, and the first full-length trailer is finally here ahead of the show’s US premiere on 8 December.
Relocating from West Hollywood to the LA suburb of Silver Lake, the revival is set a decade after the events of The L Word and sees original show stars Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig and Leisha Hailey reprise their roles at Bette, Shane and Alice respectively.
“The L Word: Generation Q continues to follow the intermingled lives of Bette Porter, Alice Pieszecki, and Shane McCutcheon, along with new characters Dani Nùñez, Micah Lee, Sarah Finley and Sophie Suarez as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in LA,” says Showtime.
The L Word: Generation Q premieres 8 December on Showtime in the US. Check out thefull-length trailer below:
