This Beauty and the Beast live action teaser is making us giddy with excitement

After becoming the most watched teaser trailer within 24 hours by only, well…. a landslide, Disney’s live action reboot of ~~Beauty and the Beas~~t is stirring up excitement once more in their first table read, making everyone giddy.

The new clip is the first time fans got to hear Emma Watson and Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as Disney’s classic power couple Belle and the Beast to give a taste of what is still to come. Granted, it will be coming in what now feels like an even longer six month wait.

Big names such as Ian McKellan, Ewan McGregor and Emma Thompson are among the cast bringing the classic to life, playing everyone’s favourite ornaments that will reach the big screen on March 17, 2017.

“I was so excited to hear that Disney was thinking of doing a live-action version of Beauty and the Beast,” director Bill Condon says.

“When something is so perfect, why get near it? The answer is that technology has caught up to the ideas that were introduced in that movie.”

It comes as a hopeful addition to a long list of already successful live action Disney remakes including The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland which even has a sequel released earlier this summer that Disney’s animation never got around to.

News has even been spreading that the ball has only just started rolling with Disney’s live action reboots, with Mulan, Peter Pan and 101 Dalmation’s Cruella all in the list of near future hopefuls.
