This hilarious song about Grindr sums up all your dating app problems

By Attitude Magazine

Youtube singer Lord Hicks has penned a song about the highs and predominant lows of using  Grindr to facilitate in the quest to find Prince Charming, Mr. Right and all your other unobtainable fictional Adams.

Described as ‘A song about finding love in the 21st Century’, an exasperated Hicks expresses his frustration at the endless nights he has spent “Scouring my little orange screen of glee” longing for “a long walk and a nice chat”.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Lord Hicks – aka 26-year-old Londoner George – tells us: “I think it was the frustration at not finding a lasting connection with anybody”.

“I was looking for love but all I got was dick pics.”

The black & white video, shot at the Hen and Chickens’ Theatre in Highbury, features the discouraged fella strumming a series of melancholy chords, sifting through the harsh wastelands of the notorious dating app whilst sporting a rather phenomenal pair of leggings.

“Where is the one to simply adore me?” he sings.

At least you’ve got your ukulele…
