Tim Curry makes a cameo in new Rocky Horror Picture Show trailer – WATCH
A new trailer for Fox’s TV reboot of the Rocky Horror Picture Show has been released and it even features a cameo from Tim Curry himself.
In this iteration of the musical however, Tim Curry will be playing as a Criminologist and reminds us how to do the ‘Time Warp’.
According to the Metro the trailer features a better look at Laverne Cox as Dr Frank-N-Furter and gives us a glimpse of what could be audience participation as the camera cuts back to the audience cheering and screaming alongside the show.
The Rocky Horror reboot has been hit with criticism as Orange is the New Black’s Laverne Cox takes over Tim Curry’s role which is traditionally played by a cross-dressing man.
Even Richard O’Brien, who wrote the musical and played Riff-Raff, slammed the reboot for being “badly cast.”
Cox defended the reboot saying, “People can be very… challenging and critical, but I put everything I had into this.”
