Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are set to star together as sisters in an upcoming comedy film called The Nest.
The much-loved comedy actresses will play thirty-something sisters who spend a wild weekend together after coming home to find out their parents’ house has been put up for sale, Deadline reports.
Both Fey and Poehler will serve as executive producers on the film, while Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore is set to call the shots.
The two stars previously appeared on the big screen together in 2004’s Mean Girl and 2008’s Baby Mama, and last year they signed a two-year deal to host the Golden Globe Awards together in 2014 and 2015.
Meanwhile, Fey insisted last month (March) that there are no plans for a sequel to cult 2oo4 teen film Mean Girls, which she wrote.
