Tina Fey teases ’30 Rock’ reunion: ‘It could come back’

Tina Fey has teased the possibility of a 30 Rock reunion or spinoff series.
The actress created and starred in the sitcom until it came to an end in January 2013.
Asked by Entertainment Weekly if the ending of the show was written with a reunion in mind, she replied: “I don’t think we were thinking about that cause we were so exhausted and the thought about even doing one more episode, we were gonna drop dead.
“But we didn’t actually murder anyone so they could come back,” the 43-year-old added.
Meanwhile, she responded to suggestions that the ending of 30 Rock “played it safe” with happy endings for the characters.
She said: “Not so much safe, but we watched a lot in the writer’s room leading up to it like at lunch or a break, we watch these classic TV finales and talk about it and as the weeks got closer and closer to ours it got more emotional.”
30 Rock – which also starred Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski and Tracy Morgan – ran for seven seasons on NBC.
