Top 50 biggest turn-offs revealed - which ones are you guilty of?

A new study of 2,000 people has revealed our biggest turn-offs when it comes to dating – and if you’re wondering how you can give your own sex appeal a boost, it looks like personal hygiene might be a good place to start.

The poll found that body odour is the biggest romantic no-no, with a bad temper and lying following closely behind.

Bad breath, being rude to waiting staff and talking about exes too often also scored highly in the poll, commissioned by e-cigarette company Blu. It was also discovered that people would prefer to date someone who vaped rather than smoked.

53% per cent of respondents they form an opinion on someone within the first 15 minutes of knowing them, while over 50% said they’d dump someone who was otherwise perfect if they had one huge flaw.

However, the poll also showed that being a nice guy was more advantageous than having bags of cash, with a good sense of humour favoured over wealth. So we’re not all gold-diggers, at least.
