Tory MP Jeremy Hunt has responded to his lookalike appearing as Santa’s boyfriend in a new TV ad.
The clip depicts the developing relationship between Santa Claus and another older man, who he visits each Christmas over a number of years. Eventually, the loved-up pair are seen sharing a kiss.
The ad, from Posten, the Norwegian Postal Service, was released last week.
“Long-lost brother”
Responding to Jezza’s uncanny resemblance to Santa’s beau, one Twitter user said of the UK’s Chair of the Health and Social Care Select Committee: “Did anybody else think this was Jeremy Hunt doing a bit of moonlighting?”
Another said: “Blimey, in the Santa advert I thought he was blooming kissing Jeremy Hunt. Lol. Come on we cant be having that.”
Hunt eventually addressed the observations, saying: “I must have a long-lost brother in Norway,” followed by a Father Christmas emoji.
