Two men have made history by becoming the first ever male cheerleaders to dance at the Super Bowl.
Quinton Peron and Napoleon Jinnies were the first men to join the Los Angeles Rams’ cheerleading squad and although the team are “open to all”, these two men were the first to turn up and try for the team.
Now, after rigorous trying, the most-watched sports event in the American calendar, the Super Bowl, saw the two cheerleaders dance in the same routine as their female counterparts.
It is believed that this is the first time ever in the history of Super Bowl that men have joined the female cheerleaders.
Although the Rams lost, before the game, Quinton wrote on Instagram: #FullCircleMoment with these 2!
“10 months ago, We had our first interview with Good Morning America sharing our excitement with the world about being the First 2 male cheerleaders in the NFL and now we are sharing that same excitement as we become the First 2 male cheerleaders to ever cheer at the Super Bowl!
“This has been an INCREDIBLE journey and I have been blessed to work with the BEST AND MOST TALENTED TEAM IN THE NFL! See you guys in Atlanta… “We gon’ win! GO RAMS”
