Unheard Madonna ‘Erotica’ demos leak in full

Two previously unheard demos from Madonna’s Erotica era have surfaced online.

Recorded over 22 years ago for the Queen of Pop’s fifth studio album, the demos – titled Shame and You Are the One – were uploaded yesterday (July 27) as part of a fan-made mixtape. A noticeably different version of You Are the One leaked in 2010.

Though rejected from Erotica‘s final tracklisting upon its release in 1992, both songs showcase the album’s trademark spoken vocals and house-influenced beats.

The out-takes were co-written by Madonna with Shep Pettibone and Tony Shimkin, according to our friends at MuuMuse. Listen to them both below.
