Victoria Beckham reveals her mic was turned off for Spice Girls performances

, Victoria Beckham has revealed that her mic was switched off during Spice Girls concerts.

Speaking to Claudia Winkleman on Thursday (May 5) during the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition at the London Portrait Gallery, Beckham explained how she had to mime her way through concerts.

The former Spice Girl wasn’t exactly known for her great vocals but says, “They used to turn it off and just let the others sing.”

But she never allowed the issue to get her down, “I got the last laugh – and now my mic is well and truly on, finally.”

While Posh’s mic was always turned off, she explains how she was given more freedom in styling since the other girls received free clothing, giving Beckham a bigger budget for fashion choices.

“I was always the one that loved fashion, and it was quite a result for me because the girls always used to get their clothes for free because they were crap, and so there was a lot of budget for me to have my little Gucci dress.”

Rumours of a Spice Girls reunion have been building this year as the group celebrates 20 years since the release of debut single ‘Wannabe’, but sadly it seems VB wants no part in it.
