Watch Bear Grylls discuss his big screen debut

Bear Grylls is to make his big screen debut in the upcoming Disney movie Planes 2: Fire And Rescue, it has been announced.

The survival expert will voice the character of Avalanche, one of the “smokejumper” vehicles which emerges from the film’s fire and rescue planes.

Watch Grylls talking about his role (and generally being adorable) in a new clip released today (July 25).

Planes 2: Fire and Rescue, which also features the voices of Dane Cook, Julie Bowen, Ed Harris, and John Michael Higgins, will be released in Scotland on August 1, and the rest of the UK August 8.
