Britney Spears proved she’s still every bit the princess of pop at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas last night (May 22), opening the night’s proceedings with a show-stopping medley performance.
The 34-year-old put on a mini-rendition of her Vegas residency show as she became just the third ever artist to be honoured with Billboard’s Millennium Award, and 2004-ney was firmly on display in a performance that paired some of her most iconic hits with some fan-favourite deep from her In the Zone album.

Opening with ‘Work Bitch’, Brit launched into ‘Womaniser’, ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll’, ‘Breathe on Me’, ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’, ‘Touch of my Hand’ and finally ‘Toxic’.
Naturally, the performance has got fans nicely hysterical ahead of the expected release of new single ‘Make Me (Ooh)’ in the coming weeks – the first to be taken from her upcoming ninth studio album.
