continues to offer candid moments from Caitlyn Jenner’s transition as its eight-part run reaches the halfway point.

We’ve already seen the 65-year-old offered some kind words by son-in-law Kanye West and open up about her confusion over her sexuality, but in the latest episode – which aired stateside lastn night on E!, the world’s most famous trans woman came face-to-face with the world’s most famous trans man, in the form of Cher’s son Chaz Bono.

Bono came out as transgender in 2009, and last night’s the episode saw him meet with Jenner at the Los Angeles’ Children’s Hospital LGBT centre.

“He came out publicly before I did. So finally having the opportunity to spend some time with him – I think it’s going to be great,” Jenner is seen saying during the show’s narration scenes.

“For the longest time, I’ve wanted to talk to Chaz,” she adds.

“I met him at Dancing With the Stars briefly, and obviously I couldn’t tell him my story.”

During the meeting, the reality star and former Olympian tells Bono how she admires how she’s dealt with the process of gender transition under the glare of the media spotlight.

“In your transition, which obviously I was watching and everybody else was watching, I know it’s been a lot of hard work, but you’ve done a very good job and I was really glad to see that,” she says.
