This is what the battle for marriage equality is all about folks.
One Canadian couple have managed to have their love legally recognised by Cher, Madonna and even Joan Rivers – all with a little help from London drag queen Charlie Hides.
John and Trevor, from Toronto, held their hilarious ceremony back in June this year, but finally released a video of their rather unique exchanging of vows yesterday (August 17).
“Since we couldn’t get Madonna and Cher to actually perform our ceremony and Joan Rivers passed away (RIP) we turned to our friend, YouTube sensation and our favourite celebrity impersonator: Charlie Hides to be our officiant in drag”, the couple wrote.
