Watch | Eastenders’ Jonny Labey has an affair with a married man in ‘Soft Lad’
By Will Stroude

As Eastenders’ Paul Coker, Jonny Labey spent his summer secretly hooking up with Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) here, there and everywhere, and now the young Jersey islander has taken his knack for a convincing gay tryst to the big screen, in new gay drama Soft Lad.
The directorial debut from Leon Lopez see Labey star as David, a 22-year-old aspiring dancer with the world at his feet but who’s harboring a scandalous secret: he’s been hooking up with his sister’s husband Jules (played by another soap star, Coronation Street‘s Daniel Brocklebank) – for the last two years.
When David begins to spread his wings and find a healthier relationship with Sam (Craig Stein), Jules struggles to contain his desire for his young lover, and all hell breaks loose. You can get a taste of a tale that examines lust, jealousy and their consequences in contemporary Liverpool in the trailer below:
Soft Lad is available on DVD and to download now.
