Watch exclusive clip from Eurovision parody film ‘Cupcakes’
With Eurovision fever still lingering in the air, today we’ve got an exclusive clip from Eurovision parody film, Cupcakes.
The musical comedy centres around a group of friends from Tel Aviv who, after watching ‘Universong’ (a parody of Eurovision), are unimpressed with Israel’s entry to the singing competition.
In a bold move, the group decide to record their own song on a mobile phone. Little do they know that their entry will get picked up by the Universong judges, who thrust them into the spotlight as Israel’s next entry. Obviously, hijinks ensue.
In this exclusive clip, the gang have gathered together to watch the Israeli entry for Universong. However, there’s a definite feeling of disappointment in the air…
The film was directed by acclaimed director Eytan Fox (Yossi) and features original music from Scissor Sisters’ Babydaddy.
