Watch: Final trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’
By Will Stroude
The final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been unveiled ahead of the film’s December release – and it’s safe to say anticipation levels have reached fever pitch.
While the new teaser doesn’t offer many clues in the way of plot details, the lack of sightings of Mark Hamill’s Jedi hero Luke Skywalker across all marketing material has sent the Twittersphere into overdrive as fans speculate why the iconic hero is being kept under wraps.
The seventh film in the iconic sci-fi series reunites Hamill with fellow original stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher. They’re joined by British newcomers Daisy Ridley and John Boyega and American Girls star Adam Driver, who play villainous new Sith Lord Kylo Ren.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set for release in the UK on 17 December.
