The first trailer for Amazon Prime’s new series Modern Love has been released.
Inspired by the popular New York Times column of the same name, the half-hour romantic comedy series explores love in all of its complicated and beautiful forms, as each standalone episode brings some of the column’s most beloved stories to life with a stellar cast.
The new series – which will arrive on Amazon Prime on October 18 – stars Anne Hathaway, Andrew Scott, Sofia Boutella, Tina Fey, Andy Garcia, Dev Patel, Jane Alexander, Gary Carr, Olivia Cooke, Brandon Victor Dixon, John Gallagher Jr, Julia Garner, Brandon Kyle Goodman, Catherine Keener, Caitlin McGee, Cristin Milioti, Laurentiu Possa, James Saito, John Slattery and Shea Whigham.
Told in a similar fashion to the likes of Paris, Je T’Aime, the new series showcases relationships and stories of all kinds – including same-sex.
Written, directed and produced by John Carney, the series also features the likes of Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan, Tom Hall and Emmy Rossum all directing episodes.
