Watch: Gay pop star Troye Sivan shares a kiss in ‘Wild’ music video

Gay Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan has just dropped the video for his new single, Wild – and it’s a touching story of childhood friendship that ends with a same-sex kiss from Sivan.
The 20-year-old singer is also a popular YouTube personality, with more than 3.5 million YouTube subscribers, and used his YouTube channel to come out in 2013. Sivan’s Wild EP, released today, will be accompanied by three music videos following the storyline of two male childhood friends involved in a romantic relationship. Sivan dubs the videos under the umbrella term Blue Neighbourhood. Here’s part one, with quite the cliffhanger ending:
In a new interview with Popjustice, Sivan reveals that he’d like to work with Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander:
“I think we’d have to write something new. A nice pop ballad would be really good. A GAY BALLAD. There’s not many romantic male-on-male duets,” he says. HERE FOR THAT.
