Watch Greg James recreate Kiesza’s ‘Hideaway’ video

Greg James has donned a crop top and braces and hit the streets of East London to recreate the video for Kiesza’s dance banger Hideaway. Watch below.

Recorded in one take, the video sees the Radio 1 DJ joined by a troupe of dancers as they imitate the video shot-for-shot, including some rather challenging dance moves.

There is also an amusing cameo by reality star Louie Spence, who writhes on ‘Gregsza’ – as the DJ renames himself for the video – before joining the other dancers for the final choreography.

The video is not the first time that James has transformed into a pop sensation. Last year he stripped off to recreate Miley Cyrus’ controversial Wrecking Ball video wearing nothing more than red lipstick and boots.

“I’d like to thank everyone in East London who volunteered their time and hard work to make this video possible,” he said of his latest effort. “Shout out to my brother Louie for driving from Essex with his dog to help me capture this moment. This was truly a team effort and I couldn’t have done it without you all!”

Kiesza’s Hideaway is on course to debut at Number One on the UK’s Official Singles Chart on Sunday (April 20).
