Watch: Lady Gaga teases AHS: Hotel, returning for season six?

We’ve seen the trailers, we’ve seen the title sequence and tonight, US viewers will finally get to see the season premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel in full.

Before transmission though, the show’s new female lead, Lady Gaga, has made a welcome return to the celebrity chat show circuit to tease a few details about her portrayal of villainous bisexual hotel owner The Countess on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

The 29-year-old teased: “There’s a very interesting exploration of themes of addiction, and themes of survival. There’s this really kind of strange world that Ryan has created, of these very narcissistic characters; they’re all trying to survive in their own way.

“Mine in particular is a haemophilic, or a vampire, so I need to drink blood in order to survive. So you find yourself going what is right, and what is wrong? And what is good, and what is evil? And when is it okay to be cunning in order to survive?”

Meanwhile, tongues have been set wagging for season six before season five has even begun, after series creator Ryan Murphy revealed yesterday that he’s been so impressed by the Bad Romance singer’s acting abilities that he’s already invited her back next year. What say you, Gaga?
