Watch: Miley Cyrus mocks Kim Davis on Saturday Night Live

Miley Cyrus and the team on Saturday Night Live took a moment last night to mourn the big anitheroes of Summer 2015 – including one Kim Davis.

Cyrus, guest hosting the show, sang a rendition of My Way while the comedy show’s cast appeared as various headline-hitting villains, including Davis, Pizza Rat and – quote – “that twerp who raised the price of AIDS medication”.

During the Davis segment, they even took a second to reference her controversial (and disputed) meeting with the Pope.

Davis, who first hit headlines a little over a month ago, enjoyed a renewed boost in profile this week when she got to meet the pontiff, although the circumstances of the meeting (and the Pope’s feelings about her) have come in for a lot of debate.

But whatever the situation was, hopefully Miley is right in this clip when she says that these people will “never, ever be heard of again”. Bye hun.
