Watch: Only guy at cheerleader audition steals the show

Out of the way, Beyonce. Keith Wilson is a man on a mission and he wants to run this motha’ (yeah).

Buzzfeed reports the 28-year-old was the only male out of 200 dancers to attend the recent open dance team auditions for basketball team Miama Heat.

A video featuring his electrifying performance to Beyonce’s Run The World (Girls) has gone viral across the internet, clocking up almost 350,000 views on Youtube.Watch the video below:

Wilson, who runs dance company Exclusive Vibes Contemporary Dance Theater, did not receive a call back for the final round.

“I do believe it was because of my gender, and that the Heat is not ready for a guy right now. In due time they’ll be open to it, though,” he said.

Regardless, Wilson said he was grateful for the chance to show off his moves, and hopes he can inspire other male dancers.

“Go for it! Even if you get cut, it only takes one ‘Yes’ to make all the difference.”
