Watch Sam Smith cover Tracy Chapman’s ‘Fast Car’

Sam Smith performed a cover of Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge today (September 3).
The singer delivered an acoustic rendition of the famous track, a top five hit in 1988, as well as singing his latest single I’m Not the Only One.
Speaking to presenter Fearne Cotton, Smith said that he has been of Chapman’s much-loved song since he was a young boy.
Cotton praised the singer’s performance after the show, tweeting:
