Watch ‘Sesame Street’s parody of ‘Les Miserables’

has sent up Les Miserables with a parody video called Les Mousserables. Watch it below.
Les Mousserables stars Cookie Monster as Jean Bon-Bon, who is described as “a very sad French guy in pursuit of cookies in the streets of Paris”.
Jean Bon-Bon must “figure out a way to survive and help his fellow Parisians find cookies”, all while the Sesame Street gang put their own spin on songs from the classic musical including On My Own, I Dreamed A Dream and One Day More – which is re-imagined as One Day S’more.
Several characters from the classic musical pop up – though with slightly different names than you might remember: Fantine becomes “Flantine” and Eponine is turned into “E-pie-nine”. The parody ends with a positive message about the importance of sharing.
Other movies and TV shows to have received the Sesame Street spoof treatment recently include Homeland, The Hunger Games, Boardwalk Empire and Lord Of The Rings.
