Watch: Stars of ‘The Danish Girl’ talk about the film

The remarkable real-life story of trans artist Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne) who underwent one of the world’s first gender reassignment surgeries, The Danish Girl is just weeks away from release and set to be one of the first must-see films of 2016.

And we’ve got a little something that should whet your appetite, in the form of this behind-the-scenes featurette on the film. Einar’s support from loving wife Gerda is at the crux of the film: in this featurette, Eddie Redmayne talks about how important it was to strike chemistry with Alicia Vikander, the actress playing Gerda, while Vikander herself talks about taking on such an important role.
