Watch the first trailer for Russell T Davies’ ‘Cucumber’ & ‘Banana’

As excitement builds for Russell T Davies’ new Channel 4 shows Cucumber, Banana and Tofu, the first official trailer for the sibling shows has been released.
The main Channel 4 series Cucumber will follow the lives of a group of gay men in Manchester and will run in conjunction with E4 series Banana and factual online web series Tofu. Get your first taste of what’s in store in below:
Among the stars of Cucumber is Coronation Street’s Julie Hesmondhalgh, who said last month (November) that the show would be a departure from Davies’ iconic gay series Queer as Folk – find out more here.
Other actors appearing in Cucumber and Banana include The Riot Club’s Freddie Fox, In the Flesh star Luke Newberry, comedian Rufas Hound and attitude.co.uk contributor Andrew Hayden-Smith.

Cucumber, Banana and Tofu are due to air on Channel 4, E4 and online early next year.
