The trailer for Brittany Murphy’s final film has been released.
Something Wicked – directed by Darin Scott – will open in US cinemas for a limited run next week.
Murphy worked on the psychological thriller between April and June 2009, six months before her sudden death on December 20, 2009.
One Tree Hill‘s Shantel VanSanten, John Robinson and Julian Morris also star in the film, which follows a young couple planning their wedding.
However, things go awry when “gruesome secrets from their past collide with sinister forces of the present”.
Murphy died at the age of 32 after going into cardiac arrest at her home in Los Angeles and was pronounced dead on arrival Cedars-Sinai Medical Center shortly after. She was also suffering from pneumonia and anaemia at the time of her death.
She was best known for her performances in Clueless, 8 Mile and Girl, Interrupted.
