Watch: Troye Sivan left heartbroken in ‘Fools’ music video

Aussie pop star Troye Sivan has debuted the video for his news track Fools, which sees a young couple heartbroken as they’re confronted with the realities of homophobia and bigoted parents.
It’s the second in his ‘Blue Neighborhood’ trilogy of music video, and comes after the video for lead single Wild charted the relationship of two boys throughout their youth, ending in a same-sex kiss from Sivan.
Fools sees the boys all grown up and happily exploring their sexuality, only to be forced apart by one’s violent father – who drives hims back into the closet, leaving Troye heartbroken. The video also teases what’s in store for the closing chapter in the series, and all that can be said is that it doesn’t look promising for the young couple.
The track is the second to be lifted from the 20-year-old musician’s new EP WILD, which hit the top five on the UK Albums chart upon its release earlier this month. Check out the video below:
