The Spice Girls 20-year reunion was scrapped in 2016

Mel B has insisted that the Spice Girls reunion will go ahead.
Victoria Beckham – aka Posh Spice – reportedly put on the brakes on the long-awaited girl group reunion plans earlier this year, but despite her hesitations, Mel B/Scary Spice confirmed they will be performing together.
While co-hosting the New York-based Today Show on Wednesday (June 27), Mel B insisted the group will be touring.
She said: “We are touring! I still do [love performing]. I’m the only one that keeps on saying, ‘We’re gonna be performing’, which we are gonna be performing. Finally they got it together.
“She’s [Victoria] always bloody saying that. Stop it! We are touring!
“Yes, we are going to be doing performances together, for sure.”
The surprise reunion comes after plans for a 20-year reunion were scrapped in 2016 after Victoria and Mel C – aka Sporty Spice – decided to leave their Spice legacy in the past.
Victoria said as recently as last November that a reunion was “not happening” but it seems her bandmate has other news.
