Will Young on Simon Cowell: “I don’t respect him in any way”

Will Young isn’t holding back when it comes to sharing his thoughts on Simon Cowell.

The singer, whose new album 85% Proof will chart today, has hit out at the X Factor judge once again.

“I don’t respect him in any way,” Young is quoted as saying by the Daily Star. “I don’t agree with how he treats people.

“I believe in looking after people and he doesn’t do that at all so I don’t have any respect for him or what he’s achieved.”

The ‘Love Revolution’ singer added: “I think he exploits and bullies rather than mentors and I can’t respect someone like that.”

In 2012, the Syco boss said that he found Young “obnoxious, full of himself” when he first auditioned for Pop Idol, admitting that he still didn’t like him.
