Will Young slams Spencer Matthews’ ‘least gay’ comment on BBC show This Is My House

Will Young has publicly responded to Spencer Matthews “least gay” comment on property guessing game TV show This Is My House.
Matthews made the remark to the contestants – who must each try to convince a panel they are a homeowner – during last Thursday’s episode of the BBC One show.
Matthews, who rose to fame on Made In Chelsea, is a judge on This Is My House alongside wife Vogue Williams.
“Completely offensive”
Speaking on the show, Matthews asked his fellow panellists: “Who is the least gay, do you think?” to which fellow panellist and comic Jamali Maddix replied: “Four, based on nothing?”
Addressing the remark on his Instagram Stories, Will said: “‘Asking ‘who is the least gay’ on @BBCiPlayer @BBC #ThisIsMyHouseBBC1 I find completely offensive.”
The ‘Changes’ singer continued: “What does ‘least gay’ mean? Most ‘masculine’, least ‘effeminate’?
“For f**k sake @bbc don’t you realise it is completely reaffirming offensive and shaming stereotypes, I’m gay, take it up the *** and like football and cars. Might blow your mind …. @spencermatthews [sic].”
Spencer has seemingly apologised for his comment, as Will has since taken to his Stories to say: “@Spencermatthews has had the maturity and respect to respond in a very understanding way and I completely appreciate it. Thank you sir.”
Attitude has approached Spencer Matthews for comment. Will Young and the BBC declined to comment when contacted by Attitude.
